The new pics offer much better looks at the trio of formidable ladies that have entered Wolverine’s life – Mariko (Tao Okamoto), Yukio (Rila Fukushima), and Viper (Svetlana Khodchenkova). The posters, meanwhile, remind us that Hugh Jackman is really good at screaming with his shirt off. Hit the jump to check ’em out.
[Update: There’s also a new Tweet from the official movie profile announcing the trailer debut on Wednesday. See it after the jump.]
Thankfully, the new images from EW are much better.
Most of the images from the set have shown Wolverine front and center, and Khodchenkova in particular has barely appeared at all. It’s great to finally see these characters in action and get an idea of what (or whom, rather) Wolverine will be dealing with during his stint in Japan.
Also starring Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, and Brian Tee, The Wolverine opens July 26. The first theatrical trailer hits this week, as you can see below.
