Hugh Jackman Denies $100 Million Wolverine Contract Rumors

The wording is a little confusing here. I’m not totally sure what “that” is referring to, when he says he would “never do that.” (Maybe it’s the same thing Meatloaf said he wouldn’t do for love.) But it sounds like he means he wouldn’t sign a $100 million four-picture deal, because he wants to reprise the role when he has a reason to and not just for the sake of reprising it.
No it’s not true. I would never do that. I’ve never done that mainly because, for the fans and for me, each time I’ve gone around there’s been a really good reason to do it and I don’t know what that reason is from here. I’m in the middle of making this and I just promoted the other and I’m really happy with the way The Wolverine came out.
Jackman’s next appearance as Wolverine will be in X-Men: Days of Future Past due out May 23, 2014.
