Monsters: Dark Continent Trailer 2: “Goliath”

Vertigo Films has released another new Monsters: Dark Continent trailer, the sequel to Godzilla director Gareth Edwards’ 2010 low budget debut film Monsters.
Ten years on from the events of Monsters, and the ‘Infected Zones’ have now spread worldwide. In the Middle East a new insurgency has begun. At the same time there has also been a proliferation of Monsters in that region. The Army decide to draft in more numbers to help deal with this insurgency. We follow four fresh new recruits from Detroit as they all excitedly look forward to performing what they were trained to do.
Directed by UK filmmaker Tom Green (Misfits, Blackout), the sequel takes a more action-heavy military perspective and seems to be a change from the original movie, which was more of a suspenseful tease set against an indie human relationship drama.
