No official announcement has been made and details are still scarce, but Bleeding Cool reports that Dark Horse plans to introduce Prometheus characters into their Aliens comic book franchise, which has been around since 1988. Richardson let slip that a writer had already been hired for the new project, but wouldn’t say who. More info is expected to hit at Comic-Con. [THR]
Fans’ complaints about changes to their beloved properties often fall on deaf ears, but game developer Avalanche Studio is actually listening. Chief Creative Officer Christofer Sundberg tweeted that Max Rockatansky would speak with an Aussie accent in the upcoming Mad Max video game, after an earlier trailer with American accents drew criticism (and inspired a Change.org petition).
Attn. fans who want Max to have an Aussie accent in #MadMaxGame : It shall be so. We admire your loyalty. You have been heard.

The game will land in stores sometime next year. The next cinematic installment of the Mad Max franchise, Mad Max: Fury Road, is also expected to hit in 2014. [The Verge]
