Watch A Featurette And Clip From Great, Weird Musical Comedy ‘Frank’ By Russ Fischer/May 8, 2014 7:00 am EST One of my favorite films so far in 2014 is Frank, the movie in which Michael Fassbender plays a musician who spends every minute of every day wearing a giant fake head. That’s a pretty good way to get some attention for the film, but Frank is a very funny and genuinely wonderful movie about the process of creativity, and the fact that some of us are simply no good when it comes to making music and art....

One – the film has this well-known person’s seal-of-approval and that it’s going to be good. Or two – that they’re using this person’s name to sell a piece of crap. No one has seen it yet, so the jury is still out as to which these statements best describes Broken Kingdom, executive produced by Ryan Gosling, and starring Rachel Leigh Cook and Seymour Cassel....

Now Kurtzman is directing The Mummy for Universal, and so the monster movie (the Universal monster movie, that is) will be his next directorial effort....

And though the description describes Malignant Man as a “sci-fi thriller,” to me it sounds more like a horror-based superhero film. Certainly the idea of the enemy being below the skin conjures images of peeling, scalping, etc....
