‘The Raid 2’ Indonesian Trailer: Violence Explodes Across Jakarta By Russ Fischer/Dec. 30, 2013 11:10 pm EST The Raid was a simple, no-holds-barred action film that pitted a cop squad against a whole building full of bad guys. The sequel, The Raid 2: Berandal, features the main character from the original film as he is drawn into a city-wide conflict between the cops and two crime families. He has to go to prison to get connected undercover, but is soon involved in even more crazy violence throughout all of Jakarta....

Ghost Rider Rights Dispute Headed Back To Court By Angie Han/June 11, 2013 2:10 pm EST The Ghost Rider movie franchise is laying dormant for now, but the battle over the original comic book character is rearing its ugly head once more. A federal appeals court has just overturned a 2011 ruling which stated Marvel Comics, not author Gary Friedrich, owns the character. After reviewing the copyright case, Judge Danny Chin determined that Friedrich’s original contract with the publisher was “ambiguous” and therefore required further investigation....

Gore Verbinski To Direct Big Budget Animated Film By Hunter Stephenson/Feb. 21, 2008 1:42 pm EST Director Gore Verbinksi will follow up his billion-dollar Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy with an animated film with a budget estimated at $100 million to be written by John Logan (The Aviator, Sweeney Todd). The film is skedded for a 2010 release, and the title and plot details are unknown at this time.
