Ty Burrell Now Set To Star In ‘The Muppets’ Sequel By Germain Lussier/Dec. 7, 2012 3:15 pm EST An Oscar-winner is being replaced by an Emmy-winner in the upcoming sequel to The Muppets. Writer and directors Nicholas Stoller and James Bobin are developing a follow up to Disney’s hit 2011 film and had been talking to Christoph Waltz to play one of the leading rolls. At one point, in an attempt to impress Carlton Cuse (who would, of course, eventually serve as showrunner with Lindelof on Lost) Lindelof reportedly penned a one-act play titled Ollie Klublershturf vs. The Nazis. Director Skot Bright turned that play into a short film in 2010, pulling together a cast that includes a pre-Thor Chris Hemsworth among several other recognizable faces....
