‘WarGames’ Remake Lands Director And Screenwriter By Russ Fischer/June 24, 2014 6:03 pm EST Sure, why not drop news of another reboot? The ’80s film WarGames, which originally starred Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy, is being remade by MGM. (The studio has already created a series of other remakes, including RoboCop, Carrie, and Red Dawn, and has Poltergeist and The Town That Dreaded Sundown to come.) Now the studio is poised to hire Dean Israelite to direct and Arash Amel to write the WarGames remake....

A Sequel To ‘The Lego Movie’ Is Already In The Works By Germain Lussier/Feb. 3, 2014 11:45 am EST Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s The Lego Movie opens this weekend and it is awesome. Beach Boys Biopic ‘The Drummer’ Cancelled By Germain Lussier/Dec. 12, 2013 3:00 pm EST Back in 2012, The Beach Boys biopic The Drummer had an incredible cast. Aaron Eckhart, Vera Farmiga, Rupert Grint and Chloe Grace Moretz were all attached to tell the story of Dennis Wilson, the band’s drummer who met a tragic end. Filming was set to start in June 2012 but Eckhart, who had been learning Beach Boys songs for six months, decided to pull out at the last minute....
