Digital Domain S The Making Of Tron Legacy

Digital Domain’s The Making Of Tron: Legacy By Peter Sciretta/Jan. 6, 2011 7:00 am EST /Film reader Michael von K sent over this great Digital Domain behind the scenes look at the visual effects of Tron: Legacy. Even if you didn’t like the movie, you will appreciate this extended 8-minute vfx demo reel. It’s amazing just how much work went into the computer generated visuals of this film. Too bad they were unable to perfect the young Jeff Bridges render, but watching this making of you will gain a whole new level of respect to the digital artistry that went into capturing and creating the Clu character....

In the past years there have been a wave of great magic documentaries — Make Believe (from the producers of King of Kong), The Magic Life, and Magic Camp (which I have yet to see, but have heard good things about)....
